This old shoe store will be transformed into a living room. The main constraint was to include a space to store the owners' bikes without distorting the room too much.
I then imagined an entrance hall delimited by a glass roof at mid-height, which allows the bicycles to be hidden in the lower part and the upper part to distribute the light from the front door throughout the room, and thus have a crossing stay. I integrated it into a bench in order to store cycling equipment and to be able to take off my shoes easily. A toilet has also been created as well as a cupboard.
On the living room side, partitions have fallen to enlarge the room and provide a comfortable reception area. A formwork under the window hides the pipes and allows you to display some decorative objects.
On the kitchen side, a snack area joins the spaces. Sober and minimalist, the kitchen is optimized for storage. It consists of two linear sections, one for the hot part, the other for the water.
