Starting from a commercial premises in its original state, we had to imagine and think about the space to convert it into a coffee shop.
With a surface area of 55m², we had to allocate several functions: a counter space, a catering area, a multi-purpose space that can accommodate pop-ups, a small storage room and toilets.
The style is very minimalist, refined with Japanese influences. The tones are cream which contrasts with the dark wood.
On the front, we imagined an integrated bench, thus shifting the window towards the interior, which gives it depth and invites you to sit down from the outside.
The zellige brings a little shine and reflection to the front.
Inside, the counter sits in the middle of the space as the centerpiece. This is where everything happens, the customer sees the different specialty drinks being made before his eyes.
The furniture goes to the essentials, low and simple, it allows you to have a clear view into the space, to have an overall view of the coffee shop from the sidewalk. The tables have been designed to be nested so that they can be modulated, assembled or not.
