Rearrangement of a children's sleeping area and tailor-made furniture

Date: 2021

Location: Paris (75)

Area: 60 m²

Originally, this apartment is composed of a large bedroom, and two adjoining bedrooms followed by a bathroom. An impractical arrangement for a family of three.

It was therefore necessary to completely rethink the layout, layout, circulation and volumes of the spaces. To create 2 separate bedrooms, all the partitions were knocked down to start from a blank slate.

A mezzanine was created in one of the bedrooms to accommodate the bed, and in the lower part an office/play area and dressing room. Under this mezzanine hides the bathroom, much more spacious than the previous one and accessible to the three children from the corridor.

Once this work was done, each room was designed in relation to the personalities and needs of the children. Custom-made desks and cupboards have been designed in each of the rooms.
